UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania. — The Education Abroad Fair, hosted by Penn State Global, will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 3 in the Alumni Hall of the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park. There will be a simultaneous virtual session on Zoom from noon to 2:30 p.m. for those unable to attend the show in person.
Pre-registration is required for the virtual session, but no registration is required for the in-person show. Registration for the virtual session can be found on the Education Abroad Fair website.
What is the Education Abroad Fair?
The aim of the Education Abroad Fair is to provide students across the Commonwealth with information about global engagement opportunities and provide them with a platform to ask questions.
Representatives from University Park’s colleges and Penn State’s Commonwealth campuses, such as faculty who run integrated or summer courses, will be on hand to engage with students and answer questions. Representatives of Penn State’s international partners and host institutions as well as scholarship and financial aid coordinators will be featured in the exhibit hall.
“We are thrilled to promote our partners, both internal and external, who help make education abroad possible,” said Colton Breon, Outreach and Engagement Coordinator at Education Abroad.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about various types of education abroad programs, including semester and year-long experiences, integrated or faculty-led short-term courses, as well as international internships and research. Education Abroad alumni, as well as Penn State Global staff, will be present at the event and can answer questions from students.
