IGNOU warns students against fake websites and YouTube channels

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), which provides distance and open higher education, has published a notice regarding a fake website and YouTube channel run in the name of the university.

The university said the website: https://www.ignouadmissions.com/admission-help/ does not belong to him and is false. Similarly, the YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21k4p7jd4A4 that uses the IGNOU logo is not authentic.

“Learners/students are informed that the following sites/youtube do not belong to IGNOU and are fake: fake site: https://www.ignouadmissions.com/admission-help/. Ignou Logo is used in the youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21k4p7jd4A4(sic)“, we read in the notice.

In another notice, the university authorities asked students to complete the exam form for the December 2022 end-of-term exam. The deadline to apply online for the TEE DEC-2022 is October 31, 2022 at no cost delay.

“The University’s December 2022 end-of-term exams are scheduled to start on December 2, 2022 and end on 05/01/2023. The online link for the submission of the exam form by students for the exam of December 2022 end of term is now open with the schedule and necessary instructions/guidelines. Students can submit an online exam form accordingly,” IGNOU said.

“Students who have appeared for the June 2022 end-of-semester exams for courses in the previous semester/year but whose result is not declared on the date of filling out the exam form can apply / add this (these) course, later, after declaration of the results, if they do not pass the end-of-session exams of one or more courses”, he added.
