Co-WIN registration limit extended, now 6 members can register from one number

The registration limit for Co-WIN, the central government’s web portal for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccination, was extended on Friday to now support six members from one mobile number instead of four. Additionally, a new utility feature has been added whereby an existing beneficiary can request to change their vaccination status from fully vaccinated to partially vaccinated or even unvaccinated. Delhi’s Covid tally continues to drop with 10,756 new cases, positivity rate drops below 20%

Delhi on Friday maintained its downward trend in new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases with up to 10,756 infections, according to health bulletin data. The figures are 1,550 less than Thursday when 12,306 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in 24 hours. SC refuses to hear plea against Kangana Ranaut, says “the more you advertise..”

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to hear a plea filed by a Sikh lawyer, Charanjeet Singh Chanderpal, seeking censorship of Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut’s statements on social media. A bench of Judge DY Chandrachud and Judge Bela Trivedi suggested that the petitioner has two possible solutions: one is to ignore the statements made by Kangana or to avail himself of a remedy under the law.
