Help improve access to pharmacy education and training: PSNC Main site

As part of the major review and reform of pharmacy education and training, Health Education England (HEE) is working to improve access and is initially running an engagement exercise to determine the best way to continue to shape vocational education.

HEE commissioned Verve Communications to host digital workshops and interviews to discuss pharmacy education experiences. The workshops will emphasize equality and inclusion and aim to ensure that the diverse voices of pharmacy students and foundation interns will help shape the future of pharmacy professional education and training.

Undergraduate pharmacy students, foundation trainees, or newly qualified pharmacy professionals from the following educational backgrounds or with lived experience are invited to participate:

  • Students and interns from Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority (BAME) communities; and
  • Students and trainees facing potential barriers, for example disabilities, sensory impairments or mental health issues; LGBTQ+ students and interns; those from disadvantaged backgrounds; people who started their education as mature students.

The online workshops will take place from April 12 to 29, 2022.
