The New York State Gambling Commission has confirmed that the top four out of nine licensed operators – sport bets, DraftKings, FanDuel, and Rush Street Interactive – have been approved to begin accepting and processing mobile sports betting in the Empire State as of January 8, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. EST.
The five remaining conditional license operators – BetMGM, by Bally, Wynn, World of seaside resorts, and Points bet – will continue to work to meet the legal and regulatory requirements necessary for the launch and will be approved on an ongoing basis when the requirements are met.
